This shape was designed to be used as an envelope seal, and also works well for other small applications such as an accent label (adding a date on canning jars, indicating different flavors, etc), or as the main label on very small jars and boxes.
Mai Li is styled after the "flow blue" porcelain that the Chinese invented and are so famous for. Originally imported to Europe in the fifteenth century from far-away China, "flow blue" porcelain ware was treasured for its country scenes and floral patterns, but especially for the soft fuzzed edge effect that the glaze acquired during firing. Mai Li uses classing Chinese motifs and the flow blue effect in several (mostly blue) colors to retain the spirit of the original creation. A classic, elegant style to make your event rare and unforgettable.
